Thursday, September 17th 2009, Pakistan Armed Forces were highly appreciated for their role in war against terrorism by the Australian High Commissioner, Thimothy Spencer George. He also said that Pakistan Armed Forces will get full support from Australia in the current situation. He expressed his views while visiting the Chief Of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani at the General HeadQuarters in Rawalpindi. Further on Matters of mutual interests were discussed between the two dignitaries. Army operation in Swat and Malakand was discussed in detail.
Atlast Pakistan Army gets a little bit of appreciation it deserves so much. We hope that the rest of the world recognizes this fact soon and help us in fighting against terrorism.

dude, we need more ! we are the ones whobrought war to our door step just to save this world from terrorism ! we suffered a lot. paid heavy prices. still majority of the world thinks we did nothing !!
Simply appreciating isn’t going to help us!! At the end of the day, it’s our soldiers who are being martyred!! They need to show some ‘real’ support, one which is not just in words. But, I guess, we are getting our due share of appreciation after a long time! It was direly required!
