Ghanta Ghar - Faisalabad

Pakistan Standard Time is five hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+5) but due to Day Light Saving that started on 15th April, 2009, Pakistan Standard Time was advanced by one hour. So, now we are (GMT+6). This was done by government in order to avail more sunlight.180px Greenwich clock1 161x300 Day Light Saving Timings to be Reversed I think major reason of starting Daylight saving in Pakistan was to overcome electricity problems faced by country. Well let winters come, we will see how much loadshedding takes place and how much this system was effective. Hopefully in future government will work on other projects to produce electricity instead of just depending on daylight saving technique. Pakistan Standard Time was supposed to be reversed by one hour on 1st October, 2009, but government announced that time will be reversed on 1st November . So atlast 31st October has come and Pakistan will see a 25 hours day today.Dont forget to change your clock time today :D .
