Kohat Bomb Blast
Thursday, October 15th, 2009 was a busy day for Pakistani security agencies as terrorists attacked 3 major cities of Pakistan i.e Kohat,Lahore and Peshawar whereas 2 terrorists were caught in Islamabad.Interior Minister Rehman Malik said the Pakistani Taliban accepted blame for the three attacks that took place in Lahore.
Terrorists activities started early morning around 9 am when they attacked Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) building in lahore and then almost simultaneously attacked Manawan Police Training Academy and Elite Police Academy on Bedian road, Lahore. After half an hour a car bomb attack took place in Kohat and around 6.30 pm another bomb blast occurred in Peshawar.
Manawan Police Training Academy and FIA Building in lahore have been already been targeted by terrorists. Today a single terrorist entered FIA building and killed two FIA officials and four civilians but was killed by guards before he could detonate his sucide jacket.
Meanwhile 4 terrorists attacked Manawan Police Training Academy killing 11 officers and recruits before they were killed by police. 5 terrorists entered Police Elite Training School on bedian road. One civilian and one police officer were killed while all 5 terrorists were killed.
Kohat sucide attack on a police station killed 3 police officials and 8 civilians. Civilians also included two school kids. Sucide attacker blew himself up when police stopped his car for checking.
Peshawar car bomb killed a 6 year old boy and wounded 9 others.
At the end of the day news came that 2 people have been arrested in islamabad and sucide jacket and hand grenades were found from them.
Today Pakistani Police did a great job in countering these terrorists. We salute all those people who lost their lives today. But how long will we see innocent lives being taken by these terrorists? What we need to know is who is financing these terrorists? They cant be working on their own. From these attacks we can see that these terrorists are well trained, have latest weaponry and are already in our cities. Such types of attacks cant be just planned in a day and then be carried out. Which brings us to the point that these terrorists are living amongst us. They wait for the precise moment and then attack us. Hopefully Waziristan operation will eliminate all terrorists from our country and God forbid if these terrorists continue their activities even after the waziristan operation, then it leaves only one country that can finance, train such terrorists against us. You guys know whom i am talking about.

I’m confused between 3 countries … Because there are three of them out there trying to destabilize our homeland … Which one are you singling out ? Uncle Sam or the not-a-nation or the DOGS ?
